Well i just got my hands on an old Nes system, and i have a bunch of games for it. i want to clean the games, so i did some research on the web and found a lot of sites (like this) that recommend using rubbing alcohol. This sounds great except that on the back of the game catridges it says NOT to clean with alcohol. I really don't want to ruin all my old NES games by cleaning them the wrong way... anyone know if its safe to use rubbing alcohol to clean the games?

I've always used water and a Q-tip for doing so, but I doubt rubbing alcohol will affect it so long as you're careful. Be careful to note that certain unofficial cartridges (like Chiller) have an odd design that may make cleaning difficult.
